Welcome to Alberg 37 Junk

Simon Foster

Simon Foster, Iceland 2008

This blog will follow the transformation of a traditional Alberg 37 into a Junk rigged sailing vessel.

The project is taking place in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island starting May 2011 and hopefully finishing before the end of the sailing season in these latitudes.

The purpose of the blog is threefold:

  1. To provide an on-line notepad for myself in organising the project;
  2. To get feed back and help from others;
  3. To provide a resource for others who might be interested in Junk rigging an Alberg or similar sailboat.
